The Home Insurance Plaza is located on 59 Maiden Lane, New York, NY 10038 at the corner of Maiden Lane and Nassau Street. Completed in 1966, the building stands at 45 floors tall and features around 1,043,670 square feet in office space for rent, making it quite a sizable structure. Although it is an older building, Colliers International has continued to keep the building up to date through periodic renovations and capital improvements, most recently in 2000. The building stands in the Financial District in close proximity to the red, blue, and brown MTA subway lines. Hundreds of different restaurants also pepper the surrounding neighborhood. The edifice’s closeness to the other office buildings that surround the neighborhood make this space ideal for an organization needing proximity to partner firms or clients. Alfred Easton Poor designed the building, which is the 61st tallest in New York. The building’s plaza had a redevelopment in 1987 by Kohn Pederson Fox.
