How to decide in an afternoon
- Count the calls. If anyone on the team takes calls for more than an hour a day, a hot desk will cost you the client before it saves you the rent.
- Price the exact office, not the “from” rate. The published price is the smallest interior room. Ask for the office you would sign, with the window and the size you need, and compare that number with three memberships.
- Include meeting rooms. Coworking memberships in Houston typically include two to four hours of meeting-room time a month; private offices in the same building include more. Overage runs $30 to $75 an hour.
